HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2023
This year, United Nations has themed International Women’s Day 2023 ‘DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality’ in recognizing and celebrating the women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education and the role of innovative technology in promoting gender equality and meeting the health and developmental needs of women and girls.
The International Women’s Day campaign theme is ‘Embrace Equity’. The International Women’s Day website says, “Equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have. A focus on gender equity needs to be part of every society’s DNA, expressing that “Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome.”
