Common interventions in this setting can include fine and gross motor coordination, upper/lower extremity strengthening, ADLs/IADLs, cognition, and vision.

Tele-rehabilitation offers one on one physical therapy through an internet enabled device with a camera. This gives patients the choice to be treated where they want. Patients do not have to visit a clinic to get treatment. Our therapists coach patients every step of the way. They also give information and advice on how to do exercises to bring back function and lessen pain from the injury. Sessions are delivered one-on-one in real-time and are private, secure and adhere to HIPAA requirements.

How does it work?

Tele-rehab sessions may be offered in place of or in addition to in-person clinic sessions, depending on your condition, work schedule, availability, and preference. All you need is a computer or device with a camera, microphone, and internet access to begin.

  •  We will send you a link. All you need do is simply click on the link and voila! your session will begin.
  •  The service will be like the care you’d receive in our clinic. We will cover:
    • Session Reports (paperwork)
    • Exercises,  techniques,  and education to address your pain and impairments
    • Instruction on how to best move forward with your therapy program

Our occupational and physiotherapists will work with you, your family, and your doctor to make sure tele-rehab is right for you.

Your therapy will begin with an evaluation where our therapists consider your worksite, sports, and other activities that are important to you.
